we were keeping in touch with, was just home from
Afghanistan and stopped by to meet Laurie & I. What a
surprise!! He even brought us flowers! What a sweetie.

These are just a few of the pictures we have from our mailings. Laurie Davis, Chairperson, has received
numerous requests from groups to help us do up these packages to our Troops. We are set all the way through
May of next year already! This is why we do this....so the men/women serving our country know that we truly
are "People Who Care" and they are never far from our thoughts and the community getting involved. It takes
alot of time and work and donations for this project to keep going. Laurie and I appreciate all of the help and
donations from everyone. Keep them coming, because we are going to keep sending them as long as we have
people serving. Thanks to everyone.

Hi folks!

Well. Laurie and I have still been keeping busy with this Project. It pretty much takes up all of
our spare time. But we wouldn't have it any other way!

One thing we want you to keep in mind. With the big rotation of Troops now in process, we
have alot of men and women coming home, but alot are also heading over. We need to keep
our records up-to-date, so please keep us informed of any address changes. We want to be
able to keep in regular contact with our servicemen/women and we can only do that with your
help.

We have heard from quite a few of our folks who have recently returned home from Iraq. We
have even gotten to meet a couple of them! One young man, a Kiowa Warrior Pilot was
recently home and we were invited to his welcome home party. That was a great honor for
Laurie and I. We were able to visit with him and his wife for a bit as well as his family.

We are currently in the process of making chapstick, from scratch!!! to send to our Troops.
These chapstick have our Post Logo and Project Support Our Troops label on them. They
have turned out great! We are also making them available to anyone who wishes to make a
donation of a $1 to the Troops.

Laurie and I were recently contacted by an Erie PA TV station to do an in depth piece on the
project. We are pretty excited about that!! A little nervous as well, but any of you who know
Laurie and I at all, you know that once we get going on this subject, we can keep on going. So
I don't think that we will lack for anything to say!! Wish us luck with that and I will let you all
know how it went next month!

That is all from this end for now. Keep our Troops in your hearts and prayers.

Thank you for your continued support. -- Kim Keas, Co-Chair
